Yes. Binaural beats work by playing two slightly different frequencies in each ear (e.g., 200Hz and 210Hz) to create a perceived 'beat' (10Hz) inside the brain. For Isochronic Tones or Ambient Noises (Rain, Brown Noise), you can use speakers.

Yes! Binauro is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Once loaded, all audio generation happens locally on your device via the Web Audio API. You can install the app on your phone and use it without an internet connection.

For deep sleep, use Delta waves (0.5–4 Hz). For meditation and relaxation, try Theta (4–8 Hz). For relaxed focus, Alpha (8–14 Hz) is best, while Beta (14–30 Hz) is ideal for high-energy concentration and problem-solving.

Binaural beats require headphones and create a continuous illusion of a pulse. Isochronic tones use a single tone that turns on and off rapidly. Isochronic tones are often perceived as more distinct and work effectively over loudspeakers.
